I have always had a love of art and animals, having been encouraged to draw and paint from an early age. I grew up with a variety of animals- dogs and horses especially have played a large part in my life.

Painting portraits of fellow students pets helped to fund my degree in graphic design which furthered my creativity and enabled me to develop illustration techniques. Following on from my degree I enrolled on the MSc in Design Management course at the University of Salford, graduating in the summer of 2007. Art and Design is now my fulltime career.

I have painted a wide variety of animals including working police dogs, champion show horses, Crufts qualifiers and of course many family pets. Wildlife Art forms large part of my work. I strongly believe the artist can play a large role in helping conserve and bring to attention the plight of many beautiful endangered animals. I have been fortunate enough to observe Whales and Dolphins and a large variety of birdlife off the Icelandic Coast , in addition to studying and photographing wolves, leopards and other endangered animals at sanctuaries and conservation projects and travel into the arctic circle.

I have a number of future trips planned to observe and study both the natural environment and animals for further inspiration for future works.

I currently reside in Greater Manchester, U.K with my wonderfully supportive husband and our three Siberian huskies.
