Environment

I am concerned about the impact we have on the planet and the animals we share this incredible place with. It is my aim to minimise the environmental impact that the creation of my artwork and creative pieces have, with this in mind I have developed the following policies;

My studio is lit by energy saving daylight bulbs

I use an environmentally friendly substitute to the traditional and very harmful white spirit and turpentine when working with oil paints.

All correspondence is printed on recycled paper

Where possible and appropriate recycled paper will be utilised in other areas of my work

When not in use scanners, printers and PC are shut down.

My PC monitor has an energy saving mode which is utilised

Used inkjet cartridges are sent to registered charities which have recycling schemes in place to benefit a non-profit organisation as well as the environment

Pigment based inks are used in our printers as oppose to the more harmful dye based ones.

We participate in the Local Councils recycling scheme for papers, plastics, and metals.

Biodegradable and recycled items are utilised wherever possible.

I support a number of charitable organisations and undertake artwork for such organisations wherever time allows.
